Installing the seat

Seats, headrests, belts and airbags form a single system. The optimal ratio of its components and their correct operation will ensure maximum safety for passengers while driving. When adjusting the seats, you should adhere to certain rules listed below.
The seats should not be tilted lower than 30°. A correctly installed headrest should be at the level of the back of the head, the recommended distance between the headrest and the head is 2-3 cm.
There is no need to move the seat too close to the steering wheel: according to the rules, the distance between them should be such that slightly bent arms rest freely on the steering wheel.
The top of the seat belt should be in the middle of your shoulder, the bottom of your hips.
Warning: Do not adjust the seats while driving.
Adjusting the longitudinal position of the seat

To change the seat position, lift the bracket located on the right side of the front seat base, slide it forward and backward, select a comfortable position and lock it by releasing the bracket. After this, make sure that the locking mechanism has worked.
Driver's seat tilt adjustment

To change the seat tilt, lean forward slightly so as not to touch the backrest, pull the lever located on the left side of the base of the seat and lock the seat in the desired position.
Driver's seat height adjustment

The height of the driver's seat can be changed using the switch located at its base. To raise the seat, press it from below, to lower it, press it from above.
Adjusting the seat backrest angle

To change the position of the backrest, rotate the handwheel located on the side of the seat.
Adjusting the backrest curvature
You can change the curvature of the seat back using a special round handle located at the top of the back.
Driver's seat with electric adjustment

If the driver's seat is electrically adjustable, it can only be adjusted in a sitting position. There is a special lever to change the seat height, backrest position and its curvature.

- 1 Adjusting the longitudinal position of the seat
- 2 Seat height adjustment
- 3 Raise/lower the front side of the cushion
- 4 Raise/lower the back side of the cushion
- 5 Adjusting the backrest tilt

Headrests

Warning: A properly adjusted head restraint should be level with the back of your head, not your neck.
The headrests can be removed by pressing the release button at their base.
Front headrests
The height of the front headrests can be adjusted by pulling them up or down, and the angle of inclination can be adjusted by moving them forward and backward.
Rear headrests
In Hatchback and Estate models, the right and left head restraints are adjusted in the same way as described above. The center head restraint can only be pulled out or lowered.
To remove the headrests in the Hatchback model, you must first fold the seat.
Heated front seats

The seat heating can be switched on/off using special switches on the instrument panel. When switched on, the LED on the corresponding button lights up. After 5-6 minutes, the heating reaches its maximum. The temperature is regulated by a thermostat. The heating works when the ignition is on or when the ignition key is in position I.
Warning: Prolonged heating with the ignition off will drain the battery.
Increased luggage area. Rear seat backrest
Sedan and Hatchback

First, you need to remove the rear seat headrests. Then, from the luggage compartment side, pull out the locking buttons and lower the seat backs forward.
Station wagon
From the passenger compartment, you need to press the side retaining levers, then lower the seat backs back.

Folding the seat cushions
If a completely flat, level luggage compartment floor is required, the seat cushions can be folded forward.
Hatchback
First, lift the seat cushion by the side loops, then fold it forward. When returning the cushion to its vertical position, pay attention to the seat belts: they should not be tangled.

Heavy loads should be placed closer to the center of the passenger compartment and secured carefully. When driving, the trunk should be closed - otherwise exhaust gases will enter the passenger compartment. In addition, the rear license plate is only visible when the trunk is closed.
