The vehicle identification number is stamped on the shock absorber support on the passenger side.

Decoding the identification number, for example WFOUXXGAJU7L00000:
- WFO — international code of the manufacturer;
- U — body type;
- XX — constant;
- G — country of origin;
- A — assembly plant code;
- J — model range (Fusion);
- U — body type;
- 7 – year of issue (table 1.3);
- L — month of issue (table 1.4);
- 00000 – serial number of the body.
