Vehicle Identification Number (VIA)

The NIA number is used for designation and registration purposes. The NIA number is engraved on a metal plate attached to the dashboard near the windshield on the driver's side. The seventeen-digit identification number serves to guarantee the identification and designation of the vehicle and contains information about the manufacturer, the type of safety system, the vehicle modification, the body type, the engine, the year of manufacture, the model, and the serial number of the unit.

The vehicle certification label (CA label) is attached to the left front door latch panel or door pillar. Engine Identification Number

To quickly identify the engine, use the NIA number, which contains the engine code in position 8. Find the engine code (letter or number), and then look at the engine identification table and determine its type.
