Removal
Disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery.
Warning! This will erase data in electronic memory devices, such as the engine fault memory device or the radio code. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.
Remove the door glass.
Mark the location of the mounting screws by tracing the screw heads with a felt-tip pen.
Loosen, without unscrewing, the screws of the window lifter "1" and the window lifter drive "2". The figure shows an electric window lifter drive; with a manual drive, the handle mechanism "2" is secured with two screws.
Turn the window lift motor "1" or the handle mechanism in the oblong holes and remove it from the holes.
Move the screws "2" of the window regulator mechanism to the side and remove them from the holes.
Slide the lower screws "3" of the window regulator mechanism up and remove them from the holes.
Remove the window regulator from the door.
Installation
Insert the window regulator into the door.
Place the screws into the holes, do not tighten the screws.
Adjust the position of the window regulator in accordance with the previously applied markings and tighten the screws to a torque of 5 Nm.
Electric window: Connect the multi-pin plug.
Install the door glass.
Connect the ground (-) wire to the battery terminal.
Set the time on the clock.
Set the radio anti-theft code.
