Removing and installing the trunk lid trim (Mondeo 1)

Removal

Remove the lower trim; to do this, you need to pull out 10 plastic buttons.



Release the top trim by pulling it up.

Disconnect the gas shock absorber from the ball head of the cargo compartment lid. To do this, pull back the spring lock on the gas shock absorber with a screwdriver.



Remove the side trim by unscrewing screw "1" and then disconnecting the trim clamps "2".

Installation

Install and secure the side trim with clamps, secure the ball head.

Place the gas shock absorber stop onto the ball head.

Install and secure the top trim.

Install the lower trim and secure with 10 buttons.
