Removal and installation of the internal door handle

Withdrawal

Disconnect the ground wire (-) from the battery.

Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.

Remove the door trim.

Pull off the protective film in the area of the inner door handle.



If present, remove the illumination -1- of the outer handle.

Turn out two bolts -2- and remove the lever of an internal drive.



Before removing the cable, it must be oriented. To do this, pull the plastic tip of the cable from the handle body. Lightly press inward on the locking control lever. In this case, the blocking slot of the cable will coincide with the lower slot of the cable guide.




Use a small screwdriver to pry the tip of the cable out of the handle.

Installation

Insert the tip of the rope into the handle.

Insert the plastic tip of the cable into the handle body.

Install the internal drive lever and secure it with two screws.

Stick on the protective film.

Install the door trim.

Connect the ground wire to the battery terminal (-).

Set the time on the clock.

Set the radio's anti-theft code.
