Withdrawal
Attention! To facilitate the subsequent installation of electrical wires, tie their ends with twine. The cord subsequently remains on the removed trunk lid. When installed with a cord, you can easily pull the electrical wires back.
Disconnect the ground wire (-) from the battery.
Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.
Disconnect the license plate light wire connector in the middle of the trunk lid.
Disconnect from holders a rubber nozzle of an electric wire guide with three clamps above the left hinge.
Disconnect the hinge cover from the clamps.
Mark the position of the hinge by tracing the contour of the hinge on the trunk lid with a felt-tip pen.
Remove the trunk lid with an assistant, having previously unscrewed two mounting bolts on each side.
Installation
Install the trunk lid with an assistant on the hinges and wrap, without tightening, the bolts.
Adjust the position of the cover in accordance with the markings and fasten with a torque of 10 Nm Connect the plug of the license plate light wire.
Attach the wire to the hinge cover and secure the cover with the holders.
Attach the rubber grommet of the electrical wire guide with the holders over the left hinge.
Connect the ground wire to the battery terminal (-).
Set the time on the clock.
Set the radio's anti-theft code.
