1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the top…
3. …and the lower part of the steering column cover (see "Removing and installing the steering column cover").
4. Remove the steering wheel (see "Removing and installing the steering wheel").
5. Squeeze the latch…
6. …and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the switch.
7. Remove two screws…
8. …and remove the exterior lighting stalk switch.
9. Squeeze the retainer and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the windshield wiper and washer switch.
10. Remove the two mounting screws…
11. …and remove the windshield wiper and washer switch.
12. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Removing the steering column switches as an assembly with the connector, follow the following order.
You will need: flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.

5. Squeeze the latch…
6. …and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the exterior lighting steering column switch.
7. Similarly, disconnect the wiring harness connector from the windshield wiper and washer switch.
8. Press the lock with a screwdriver…
9. …and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the airbag contact ring.
10. Turn the top two…
11. …and the two lower screws that secure the connector to the steering column…
12. …and remove the steering column switches together with the connector and the airbag contact ring.
13. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
