Steering wheel — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Remove the driver's airbag module. See Section 501-20A / 501-20B for more information.

2. Center the steering wheel.

• Remove the ignition key and lock the steering wheel in this position.

3. Remove the steering wheel.

• 1. Disconnect the speed control connector (in the presence of).
• 2. Turn out a bolt.

Installation

WARNING: When installing the steering wheel, make sure that the airbag sliding contact is centered. See Section 501-20A / 501-20B for more information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in injury.

CAUTION: After installation, check that the steering wheel is correctly positioned on the steering column shaft. To do this, turn the steering wheel counterclockwise.

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
