Suspension: telescopic shock absorbers and coil springs (mounted separately). The shock absorbers rest against the body in domes above the wheel arches, and the springs rest against the domes of the axle body.
Focus' diamond-wishbone rear axle: such axle elements as the transverse arm 1, the lower transverse arm 2, the shock absorber 3, the springs 4, the traction struts 5, the transverse stabilizer 6 and the brake systems are screwed together as a module with the axle body 7. The rear axle with a diamond-shaped arm is screwed together as a separate module with the bottom of the car.
