As mentioned above, the rear brake collets have an automatic adjustment device. After removing the handbrake cables, you must adjust the base length of the control cables.

Stages of work



Pull the handbrake lever all the way several times until the cables, which are under pre-tension, are seated correctly and their length is equalized.

Loosen the set nut on the handbrake lever.

Pull the handbrake lever four to six notches.

Tighten the set nut to approximately 4 Nm.

Check the lever travel - the brake pads should lightly touch the brake discs from about the fourth groove and lock the discs no later than the seventh tooth.
