New ONS engines
The 1.6 dm³ LSD engine (1.6 НС ОНС Economy), launched in March 1984, is structurally similar to the 2.0 dm³ NET engine. It has reduced cylinder diameters, as in the 1.8 dm³ REB engine installed in the 1985 models. The 2.0 dm³ NRB engine is a variation of the 2.0 dm³ NET engine equipped with fuel injection.
