Vehicle speed sensor (Scorpio 1)

The sensor is located on the left side of the gearbox.

1. Remove the negative cable from the battery.

2. Access is best from underneath the vehicle. Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands.



3. Separate the sensor wiring connector (indicated by the arrow) from the suspension and disconnect the connector.

4. Unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the connector hanger, while marking its position.

5. Remove the sensor from the gearbox housing.
