Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor

Manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP) vehicles equipped with a catalytic converter

The sensor is located on the right front side of the engine compartment. On V6 engines, the sensor is located in the center of the bulkhead of the engine compartment.

1. Remove the negative cable from the battery.

2. Unscrew the two screws securing the sensor.

3. Disconnect the connector from the sensor, then disconnect the vacuum hose and remove the sensor.
