Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor for Catalytic Converter-Equipped Vehicles
The sensor is located on the right front side of the engine compartment. On V6 engines, the sensor is located in the center of the engine compartment bulkhead.
1. Remove the negative cable from the battery.
2. Unscrew the two screws securing the sensor.
3. Disconnect the connector from the sensor, then disconnect the vacuum hose and remove the sensor.
