Checking with a universal device — rotation speed sensor (Mondeo 3)

The operation of the speed sensor is checked using a resistance tester (universal device, see also chapter Electrical equipment). To ensure that the sensor offset from the flywheel is consistent, check whether the sensor is screwed on securely before taking measurements.

ORDER OF EXECUTION

To check, disconnect the plug from the sensor.
Measure the resistance at both contact ends.
The universal meter should show a value of approximately 200±50 W.
