- Disconnect any plug and unscrew the spark plug.
- Place the plug on the removed spark plug and place the spark plug together with the plug with perfect contact to the ground on the cylinder block. Be careful when starting, the spark plug should not slide off.
- Have an assistant start the engine.
- If now strong discharges appear on the spark plug electrodes and "cracking" sounds are heard, then there is ignition current.
- If there are no discharges, something is broken! First, check the ignition system with an expert eye, if no faults are found, check whether the electric current is flowing at all.
