You will need: a snap ring plier, a hammer, and a mandrel of a suitable diameter.

1. Remove the brake drum (see "Removal and installation the brake drum").

2. Carefully pry up the anti-lock brake system sensor ring with a screwdriver.

4. …and press out the hub bearing.

5. Clean the inner cavity of the hub and lubricate it with Litol-24 bearing grease or its imported equivalent.



6. Press the new bearing into the hub.

Caution! When pressing in, force must be applied to the outer ring of the bearing, otherwise the bearing may be damaged.


7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the hub mounting nut to 235 N·m (23.5 kgf·m).
