Emergency Lighting System
- With the ignition off, turn on the hazard warning system. All six direction indicators – together with the indicator light on the switch – should flash in the same rhythm.
Direction indicators
- Turn on the ignition and press the turn signal lever. All indicators on the corresponding side of the car should flash in the same rhythm, as well as the turn signal indicator light on the instrument panel.
Brake lights
- Park your car "backwards" to the wall and then press the brake pedal - the wall should reflect the light of the brake lights. You can similarly check their operation when standing in a "row" of cars. Look in the rearview mirror, whether the "burning" brake lights are reflected in the headlights or on the polish of the car behind.
