As a rule, cars with automatic transmission cannot be towed - the torque converter prevents a power connection between the transmission and the engine. However, for models without an automatic transmission, do not extend the "tow rope" over a distance of more than a hundred meters: if the engine does not start immediately, this may mean that the catalytic converter is seriously damaged. Its cells can become clogged with unburned residues of the fresh fuel mixture, which are forced down into the exhaust system. And if you must "woo", then always trust this only to an experienced "towing person". Also consider that the braking distance with the engine stopped becomes longer (the brake booster is inactive).

ORDER OF EXECUTION |
- Turn on the ignition, select 2nd gear and depress the clutch.
- The tractor can now start moving "softly".
- At a speed of about 15 km/h, slowly release the clutch. At the same time, be constantly ready to start braking (hand on the parking brake).
- Once the engine is running, depress the clutch, shift into gear and apply full throttle.
- Give your towing vehicle a sound signal and gently brake your "submarine".
