Removal and installation of a beam of a back suspension bracket (Universal person)

Withdrawal


1. Support the front wheels, raise the rear of the vehicle and place it on jackstands at a height that allows you to remove the beam. Remove both rear wheels.

2. Disconnect the cables from the front section of the handbrake cable (chapter 9).

3. Remove the ABS sensors (in the presence of) from the rear axles. Release the sensor wiring from the clamps (chapter 9).

4. Disconnect the brake hoses from the brackets on both sides of the beam (chapter 9).

5. Remove the reaction arm bracket bolts from the bottom on each side of the vehicle.

6. Support the beam with a mobile jack.

7. Turn out bolts and remove a beam (see fig. 26.7, a, b).



8. If necessary, remove the suspension components from the beam (see relevant paragraph of this chapter).

Installation


9. Installation - in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
  • A) Install the beam on the guide pins (see fig. 26.9).
  • b) Tighten the mounting bolts only after loading the suspension with the weight of the vehicle.
