            0

Remove the front wheel.

Unscrew the nut of the upper suspension column. Don't remove the nut (pic. 4.11), and while unscrewing it, hold the piston rod of the shock absorber placed in the column with a hex wrench. On top of the piston rod there is a hexagon socket made in it.

Unscrew the flexible brake hose mounting bracket from the column.

On a vehicle with a stabilizer bar, remove the stabilizer bar ball joint from the column.

Remove the complete brake caliper by unscrewing its fastening bolts to the steering knuckle.

Hang the removed caliper on a wire. It is unacceptable to hang the caliper on the brake hose.

Unscrew the clamping bolt of the steering knuckle on the suspension column (pic. 4.12).

Install tool 14-026 in the slot of the steering knuckle and rotate 90°.

Pull the steering knuckle down and remove from the column.

Loosen and remove the top column nut. Take out the column. The new column should be installed in reverse order. In this case, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the recommended tightening torques for bolts and nuts.
