Place the rear of the vehicle on stands. Place the jack under the lower spring support cup on the suspension arm. Remove the suspension arm-to-body mounting bolt. Remove the arm-to-trunnion mounting bolt. Lower the jack and remove the arm together with the spring and gasket.
Before installing the suspension arm, install the spring gasket in the position it occupied when removed. Using a jack, lift the arm assembly with the spring and gasket to its place and insert the arm mounting bolts.
Lower the vehicle and tighten the nut of the suspension arm mounting bolt to the body to a torque of 7.0–9.0 kgf·m and the nut of the arm mounting bolt to the trunnion to a torque of 6.0–7.0 kgf·m.
