Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (chapter 5A).
2. Apply the parking brake. Raise the front end and place it on stands.
3. Hose connections on the radiator itself are not available. Therefore, find the hoses coming from the radiator in the area of the front of the subframe and disconnect them. You can also remove the front bumper to access them (chapter 11) (see fig.35.3). Place a container under the radiator to drain fluid into it and plug the ends of the hoses.
4. The radiator mounting bolts can be unscrewed from above with a long wrench. Be careful not to damage the radiator or condenser of the air conditioning system. Unscrew the two radiator bolts and pull it out (see Fig. 35.4, a, b).
Installation
5. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. It makes sense to replace clamps with elastic clamps with clamps with screw clamps. Finally, add fluid to the steering hydraulic system and bleed the air out of it.
