Replacing the front hub bearing

            0

You will need a bearing puller.

NOTE: We recommend replacing both front wheel bearings at the same time.

1. Remove the steering knuckle (cm. «Removal and installation of a rotary fist»).

2. Establish a puller and press out from a rotary fist a nave in gathering with the bearing.

WARNING: Once the hub is removed, the bearing is not reusable and must be replaced.

WARNING: On vehicles equipped with ABS, the front hub bearing has a red seal. When replacing the bearing, purchase the same one, otherwise the ABS will not work, since the wheel speed sensor ring is made in one piece with the bearing.

NOTE: In spare parts, the original bearing is supplied complete with the hub, so further disassembly does not make sense.

3. Press the hub with the bearing all the way into the steering knuckle.

4. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

5. Check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment. Use the services of workshops with special equipment.
