Speed sensor for angular rotation of the vehicle around the vertical axis

Removal

1. Remove the right front seat. For additional information, refer to Section 501-10.

2. Remove the door sill trim panel. Refer to Section 501-05 for additional information.

3. Remove the B-pillar trim panel. Refer to Section 501-05 for additional information.

NOTE: Before removal, make sure the rear door sill trim panel is separated from the lower B-pillar trim panel.

Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.



5. Partially detach the mat.



6. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor and accelerometer assembly from the floor panel.



7. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.



8. Remove the yaw rate sensor.

Installation

WARNING: Do not use a damaged yaw rate sensor. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.

WARNING: Make sure the yaw rate sensor is positioned correctly. Failure to follow this instruction may result in injury.

CAUTION: The yaw rate sensor will be damaged if dropped.

When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
