Crankshaft rotation angle sensor

Remove the negative terminal from the battery.

Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.

On Zetec and Zetec-E engines, remove the starter.

Press the retainer and disconnect the connector from the crankshaft angle sensor (see fig. 5B.10).



Unscrew the screw and remove the sensor from the socket in the cylinder block (see fig. 5B.11).



Installation is done in sequence. reverse withdrawal.
