Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.
On Zetec and Zetec-E engines, remove the starter.
Press the lock and disconnect the connector from the crankshaft angle sensor (see Fig. 5B.10).
Unscrew the screw and remove the sensor from the socket in the cylinder block (see Fig. 5B.11).
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
