Ignition unit on the fuel injection system (Escort 5)

Removal

The ignition unit is located on the left wing of the engine compartment.

Remove the negative terminal from the battery.

Disconnect the connector from the unit.

Unscrew the 2 mounting screws and remove the unit from the engine compartment.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
