Front Sunroof Drain Hose — Removal and Installation

General equipment: Suitable pull cord, minimum two metres long.

Removal

1. Remove the headliner. Refer to Section 501-05 for additional information.

2. Disconnect the drain hose from the sunroof.



3. Disconnect the lower A-pillar trim panel from the A-pillar.

NOTE: Left drain hose.

Disconnect the auxiliary junction box electrical connector. Remove the bolt.

NOTE: Left drain hose.

Disconnect the auxiliary junction box from the "A" pillar.

• 1. Unfasten the clamp.
• 2. Disconnect the junction box.

NOTE: Right drain hose.

Disconnect the auxiliary junction box from the "A" pillar.

• 1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
• 2. Press the clamp.
• 3. Disconnect the junction box.

7. Attach a suitable length of pull cord to the end of the drain hose adjacent to the sunroof and secure the free end of the cord to the vehicle.

8. Remove the front drain hose.

• Pull the drain hose down through the "A" post.

Installation

1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
