Checking the water drainage system and eliminating water leaks

3-door

1. If a blockage or clogging of the drain hose is suspected, check the drain hoses by pouring 500 ml of water into the drain system and monitoring the flow of water from under the vehicle's sliding panels. Try to clear any blockage or clog using a drain cleaning wire (nylon). If the blockage or clog of the drain hose cannot be cleared, the drain hose will need to be removed. 2. If a drain hose leak is suspected, the drain hose must be removed and checked for cracks or crevices. For more information, refer to the Sunroof Front Drain Hose / Sunroof Rear Drain Hose - 3-Door Version chapter in this section.

4-door/5-door/estate
