Checking the idle servo motor (Focus Turnier 1)

Start the engine at idle speed.

Turn on as many consumers as possible. If your Focus has power steering, turn the steering wheel all the way.

The idle speed should drop briefly, but then return to the set value.

If the plug connector on the servo motor becomes disconnected, the motor should stop immediately.

If not, replace the idle servo motor.
