Disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the wire connectors. Remove the glow plugs from the cylinder head using a suitable socket wrench.
Place the glow plugs on a fireproof surface.
Connect each glow plug one by one with an auxiliary cable directly to the fully charged battery. Use thick leather gloves - risk of burns!
All glow plugs should glow brightly for 10 seconds. Otherwise, replace the glow plugs that do not burn, or better yet, replace the entire set.
Tighten the new glow plugs into the cylinder head to 15 Nm.
