Checking glow plugs

Disconnect the battery.

Disconnect wire connectors. Remove the glow plugs from the cylinder head using a suitable socket wrench.

Lay the glow plugs on a fireproof surface.

Connect all the glow plugs one by one directly to the fully charged battery with the auxiliary wire. Use thick leather gloves - risk of burns!

All glow plugs should glow brightly for 10 seconds. Otherwise, replace non-burning candles, it is better to replace the entire set.

Tighten the new glow plugs in the cylinder head to 15 Nm.
