The assistant sits behind the wheel. Otherwise, additionally put 75 kg of weight in the car.
Measure your tire pressure and increase it if necessary.
Park the car opposite the installation wall, preferably a dark one. The distance between the front of the car and the wall should be exactly five meters.
Press vigorously on the car from the front and rear to seat the springs.
Set the headlight adjustment mechanism to position "O".
Measure the distance between the center of both headlights and the ground. Mark the measurement on the wall and connect the two points with a line.
Draw a parallel line on the wall five centimeters below. This is the slope of the low beam at a distance of five meters.
Take a bearing through the rear window forward and have your assistant draw a vertical line exactly in the middle of the car.
Measure the distance between the middle of the car and the central point of the headlight (right and left). Transfer these values to the auxiliary line (right and left from the point where the line intersects both other lines) and mark with an installation cross.
The low beam break points on the installation line must be adjusted exactly at a distance of five centimeters under these crosses.
If your vehicle is equipped with fog lights (optional), using the same method used to adjust the main headlights, draw an auxiliary line with the alignment crosses (center of the fog lights).
Turn the set screws from the engine compartment side.
Headlight mounting screws: 1 - screw for vertical installation of headlights; 2 - screw for horizontal installation of headlights
Turn on the ignition and low beam.
Turn the height adjustment screw O until the horizontal light/shadow boundary of the low beam coincides with the installation line.
Then turn the side mounting screw O on the inside of the headlight until the bend point of the low beam is exactly aligned with the mounting cross. The light scattering rate may be 15% outside the line.
After installation, the high beam will be adjusted automatically.
