Models 1988
In April 1984, the GT version went on sale, characterized by improved equipment: an opening sunroof, tinted windows, bumpers and lower part of the body in gray, and in cars with a five-door body and combi (with roof rack) additionally divided rear seats.
Models 1989
In all versions of the body, additional side turn signal lamps have been added.
Models 1990
In October 1989, a diesel engine with a displacement of 2.3 dm3 and a power of 49 kW (67 HP) was replaced by a 1.8 dm3 turbodiesel engine with a power of 55 kW (75 HP). For all versions of the body, a grille was introduced on the air path to the radiator and white caps for direction indicators, and in the rear of the Berlin and sedan body there is a black strip connecting the darkened taillights.
Models 1992
In all versions, the shape of the front panel has been slightly modernized.
Models 1993
Improved serial equipment of individual versions:
- CLX - tinted windows, heated rear window, electric windows for the front side doors, dual headlights, power steering and tachometer;
- GL - equipment version CLX plus electric control of the rear-view mirror, opening sunroof, central door locking (central locking), rear headrests and rear center armrest.
At the end of January 1993, the production of Ford Sierra cars was completed.
