Removal water from the fuel filter
Every 10,000 km of vehicle mileage, the water accumulated in the fuel filter sump should be drained. The method for removing water from the fuel filter is given in the relevant chapters.
Replacing the fuel filter
The fuel filter should be replaced every 40,000 km. After replacing the filter, it is necessary to remove air from the fuel system.
Removal air from the fuel system
1 – filter deaerator,
2 – air bleed bolt on the fuel pump housing
1. Loosen the deaerator fastening (1) on the fuel filter holder.
2. Press the manual fuel pump button (arrows in the figure) until the fuel flowing out from under the deaerator is free of air bubbles.
3. Screw on the deaerator.
4. Unscrew the air bleed bolt (2) on the fuel pump housing.
5. Press the manual fuel pump button (arrows in Fig. Removing air from the fuel system) until the fuel flowing out from under the air bleed screw is free of air bubbles.
6. Tighten the air bleed bolt.
7. Start the engine.
Air filter for diesel engines
The air filter element should be replaced every 40,000 km of vehicle mileage.

The air filter cover is screwed with four nuts. Replacing the filter element is not very difficult.
