Berlin and Sedan cars





Remove the boot floor cover and the protective disc covering the spare wheel. This disc is held by a latch that should be turned 1/8 turn to the left.



The spare wheel is attached with a long bolt.



The jack is fixed on the rear wall.

Combi vehicles





The spare wheel and jack are located at the back of the trunk in two compartments closed with lids held by latches to unlock them by turning them 1/4 of a turn.




The jack is located under the floor covering in a niche on the right side.

Replacement



1. Park the vehicle on a firm, level surface.

2. Apply the handbrake and engage reverse gear.

3. If the wheel is changed on an inclined surface, one of the wheels of the car should be supported in order to additionally fix it, thus, from possible rolling.

4. Get a spare wheel; jack and wrench for wheel bolts.

5. Using a screwdriver, remove the decorative cap from the removed wheel.

6. Loosen the wheel bolts before lifting the vehicle.


7. Insert the jack arm as far as possible into the space provided for it in the body next to the wheel to be changed (A - a recess in the lower part of the body, B - a hole).


8. Tilt the top of the jack as close to the body as possible and turn the handle to raise the vehicle.

9. Loosen the bolts and remove the wheel.

10. Install the spare wheel and tighten the mounting bolts.

11. Lower the car, remove the jack and tighten the bolts "to the cross" the appropriate moment.

12. Install the decorative cap on the wheel rim.

13. Place the jack, wheel wrench and removed wheel in place in the trunk.
