Replacing the camshaft sealing ring



1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery and drain the coolant from the cooling system (see subsection 4.2.1).

2. Disconnect the upper and lower flexible hoses from the radiator.

3. Remove the toothed belt cover. Loosen the tensioner mounting bolts, move its roller, overcoming the resistance of the spring, and tighten the tensioner mounting bolts (see Fig. Removal the timing belt tensioner using key 21.012).

4. Remove the timing belt.

5. Remove the pulley and longitudinal mounting support plate from the camshaft.

6. Remove the camshaft seal ring using tool 21.008 A.

7. Lubricate the new camshaft sealing ring with oil, install it in tool 21.009 A and press the ring into the cylinder head.

8. Install the support plate and pulley on the camshaft.

9. Put on the toothed belt, install the crankshaft and camshaft according to the marks (see Fig. Installation signs of the gas distribution system).

10. Tension the timing belt using the tensioner (see Fig. Removal the timing belt tensioner using key 21.012).

11. Install the timing belt cover.

Connect the flexible cooling system pipes (upper and lower) to the radiator.

Fill the cooling system with liquid and remove air from it.

Connect the ground wire to the battery.

Removal and installation the camshaft and installing the valve timing
