The following lever positions are possible:
- P – Parking. This position should only be set when the vehicle is stopped. The drive wheels are locked in this position and prevent the vehicle from moving. The handbrake must also be applied. It is prohibited to set the lever to this position when the vehicle is moving;
- R – reverse. This position should only be set when the vehicle is stopped and the engine is idling;
- N – neutral position. This position should be set when starting the engine and idling it;
- D – forward movement. Normal position when driving. You can switch from position D to positions 3, 2 or 1 when the car is moving;
- 3 – the car moves only in the first three gears;
- 2 – movement only in 1st and 2nd gears. Used when driving without a trailer on roads with ascents or descents in the mountains or driving at speeds up to 40 km/h;
- 1 – movement only in 1st gear. Used when driving with strong ascents and descents.
