Removal



Disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery.

Warning! This will erase data in electronic memory devices, such as the engine fault memory device or the radio code. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.


Remove the ventilation grille, see paragraph 17.5.

Remember the location of the tachometer in the engine compartment.

Caution! Incorrect positioning of the tachometer may cause vibration of the speedometer indicator, noise in the speedometer area or failure of the tachometer.

Pull out the tachometer and rubber tip. At the same time, squeeze the ring to release the shaft, see the picture.

Raise the car.

Unscrew the tachometer cover nut on the speedometer sensor and remove the tachometer.

Disconnect the spring clips from the tachometer in the engine compartment, cutting the wire connector if necessary.

Remove the tachoval.

Installation



Enter the tachometer into the speedometer and fix it.

Attention! The tachometer must be fixed. Check the strength of its installation by pulling the shaft.




Secure the tachometer in the engine compartment with spring clips. Make sure it is positioned correctly in the engine compartment.

Screw the shaft to the speedometer sensor.

Connect the battery ground (-) cable.

Set the current time on the clock.

Set the anti-theft code for the radio.
