Removal and installation of takhoval

Withdrawal

Disconnect the ground wire (-) from the battery.

Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.

Remove the ventilation grill see 17.5.

Remember the location of the tahoal in the engine compartment.

Attention! Incorrect position of the tachometer may cause vibration of the speedometer indicator, noise in the area of the speed meter, or damage to the tahoval.

Pull out the takhoval and rubber tip. While doing this, squeeze the ring to release the shaft, see illustration.

Raise the vehicle.

Unscrew the cap nut on the speed meter sensor and remove the takhoval.

Disconnect the spring clips from the takhoval in the engine compartment, cut the wire connector if necessary.

Take out the takhoval.

Installation

Enter takhoval into the speedometer and fix.

Attention! Takhoval must be fixed. Check by pulling on the shaft that it is firmly seated.

Secure the tachoval in the engine compartment with spring clips. Track its correct position in a motor compartment.


Screw the shaft onto the speedometer sensor.

Connect wire "masses" batteries (-).

Set the current time on the clock.

Set the anti-theft code for the radio.
