Heating system — design description

            0

For heating, fresh air is sucked in under the windshield and, passing through the fan, is directed into the passenger compartment. In this case, the air blows over the heating radiator and is separated through various dampers into the outlet nozzles. The dampers for air distribution are controlled by a vacuum regulator. Vacuum hoses from the air distribution switch to the vacuum regulators are painted. not to confuse them. If the heating is set to "warm". The warm air valve opens and cold air flows through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is located in the heater housing and is heated by hot coolant. The flowing fresh air is heated by hot heat exchanger plates and then enters the passenger compartment. The warm air damper is actuated by the warm air regulator using a Bowden rod. A four-stage heating fan serves to enhance the heating. Changing the fan speed is achieved by connecting it to resistances of various ratings. If any resistance fails, the fan motor does not rotate at this stage.

Schematic representation of underpressure controlled heating:
1 - Magnetic valve for turning on air recirculation
2 - Vacuum regulator for footwell air inlet
3 - Vacuum regulator for air inlet, defrost glass
4 - Switch for air separation
5 - Reduced pressure receiver
6 - Vacuum regulator for recirculation valve / inlet valve
7 - Bypass valve
8 - Connecting vacuum from the engine
