Removal
Disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery.
Warning! This will erase data in electronic memory devices, such as the engine fault memory or radio code. Please read the section ''Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.
Remove the glove box. To do this, open the glove box and pull it towards the co-driver's seat.
Remove the footwell cover under the glove box by first pressing out the four spring clips with a small screwdriver.
Disconnect multi-pin connector "1".
Lift the locking tab "2" slightly, turn the fan approximately 30° counterclockwise and remove it.
Installation
Install the fan and tighten clockwise until the locking tab locks into place.
Put on the multi-pin connector.
Install and secure the upper footwell trim with four spring clips.
Insert the glove box into the holder.
Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery.
Set the time on the clock.
Set the radio anti-theft code.
