Withdrawal
Disconnect the ground wire (-) from the battery.
Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.
Open and remove the ashtray.
Unscrew both upper bolts of the center console, having previously pressed out the protective caps with a small screwdriver.
Remove the radio see item 22.5.
Pull the trim out of the three clips at the top and remove. Disconnect the electrical mirror adjustment multi-pin connector, if equipped.
Fan switch
Remove rotary knob (fungus).
Unscrew the screws -2- and remove the control.
Disconnect the rear of both multi-pin connectors from the fan switch.
Remove screw -1-.
Turn the fan switch in the direction of the arrow and remove.
Temperature regulator
Disconnect the pipe -3- (see fig. F-5238).
Unscrew the screws -2- and remove the control.
Unhook or disconnect the temperature controller rear flex cable clamps.
Attention! On vehicles with air conditioning, disconnect the multi-pin connector instead.
Unscrew the temperature regulator and take it out.
Installation
Insert the fan switch into the control, turn to the left and screw on.
Plug both multi-pin connectors onto the fan switch.
Install temperature controller and screw on. Connect the flexible rod and secure with a spring clip.
Install and screw the control, install the fungus.
Insert the trim into the three clips.
If necessary, put on the multi-pin connector for electric control of the mirror.
Mount the radio see point 22.5.
Install the two center console bolts to the left and right of the ashtray. Put caps on the bolts.
Insert the ashtray.
Connect the wire "masses" (-) to the battery.
Set the radio's anti-theft code.
