Temperature controller
1 – connector; 2 – fuel supply hose; 3 – return fuel hose
Examination
1. Remove the connector from the temperature controller.
2. Turn on the ignition and measure the voltage at the contacts of the removed connector, which should be at least 11.5 volts.
3. Turn off the ignition and measure the resistance between the terminals of the regulator. If the resistance is infinity (winding break), replace the regulator and connect the connector.
Replacement
1. Remove the ground wire from the battery and the connector from the temperature controller.
2. Clean the fuel lines and relieve pressure in the fuel system by carefully loosening the hollow bolt of the fuel inlet line and then unscrewing the fuel return line.

3. Unscrew the 2 mounting bolts (indicated by arrows) and remove the regulator.
4. Install the regulator in the reverse order of removal.
