Removing and installing the dust filter (Mondeo 1)

The dust filter is located behind the ventilation grille and filters out the smallest particles of dust, dirt and pollen from the incoming fresh air. The dust filter is changed every 30,000 km.

Removal



Remove the ventilation grille, see paragraph 17.5.

Remove the ventilation grille, see paragraph 17.5.


Disconnect the two "arrow" clips and insert the upper part of the dust filter housing.

Remove the dust filter from the top of the housing.

Installation



Insert a new dust filter into the top of the housing.

Install the top part of the housing with the dust filter and secure with clamps.

Install the ventilation grille, see paragraph 17.5.
