Replacing the Parking Brake Indicator Light Switch (Focus 2)

You will need: an 8 mm spanner and a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Remove the rear part of the floor tunnel trim (see "Removing and installing the floor tunnel lining").



3. Remove the parking brake indicator light switch mounting bolt.



4. Move the switch away, press the lock with a screwdriver…





5. …disconnect the wiring harness connector…



6. …and remove the parking brake indicator light switch.

7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
