NOTE: The emergency fuel shut-off button is only installed on vehicles with gasoline engines.
You will need: a 7 mm spanner and a flat-blade screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the front trim of the left threshold of the body (see "Removing and installing interior trim").

3. Unscrew the two mounting bolts…

4. …move the button away from the body panel…

5. …push the lock with a screwdriver…

6. …disconnect the wiring harness connector…

7. …and remove the emergency fuel shut-off button.
8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
