Inspection and verification
1. Check the validity of the customer's complaint by using the system.
2. Perform a visual inspection for obvious signs of damage to the mechanical and electrical systems.

3. If an obvious cause for a reported or received complaint is found, correct the cause (if possible) before moving on to the next step.
4. If the cause of the complaint is not obvious, clarify the symptom of the malfunction and refer to the Symptoms Table.
