Removing the door handle (Focus Turnier 1)

It doesn't matter which door handles you are dismantling - front or rear - the stages of the work differ from each other insignificantly. We describe the work using the front door handle as an example.

For versions with electric windows, first disconnect the battery.

Remove the door trim as described above and carefully peel off the sealing film at the rear of the door, then fix it with adhesive tape on the inside of the door.

Remove the screw (arrow) on the lock drum.



Carefully remove the outer lining of the lock drum using a small flat-head screwdriver.

Pull back the outer door handle and remove the screw (arrow).



Remove the door handle from the door to the outside.

Complete the installation in reverse order.
