Models 1990
In September 1989, a new equipment version called Laser was introduced, which added to the equipment of the GL version: high beam headlights, decorative wheel covers of the GT type, tinted glass, black frame of the side windows and a tachometer in the instrument cluster.
In February 1990, the car's appearance was subjected to some modifications. An open air vent to the radiator and white front turn signal lights were introduced in the front of all cars; new type of decorative wheel caps were also introduced. At the rear of the cars with Berlina and saloon bodies, a black strip was introduced, connecting the new darkened taillights.
In addition, for all Ford Sierra vehicles:
- gT and S versions are excluded from the offer;
- gLS and CLX equipment version introduced;
- the production of the three-door coupe body has been discontinued.
Models 1991
No significant changes have been introduced.
Models 1992
In July 1991, the CL version of the estate body was excluded from the offer. All models were equipped with: minor modifications to the front panel, power steering (except for the CL version), electric front side windows, height adjustment of the driver's seat, body-colored bumpers in the GL and Ghia versions and partially also in the CL and CLX versions. The GL version also received chrome trim on the bumpers, side decorative trims, a manually opened sunroof, head restraints on the rear seats and central locking. In the Ghia version, electric rear side windows were introduced. Since then, this equipment has also been offered for estate cars.
Since January 1992, the GT version has been equipped with body-colored bumpers, spoiler and rear-view mirrors; for versions equipped with fuel-injected engines, wheel rims made of light alloy were introduced.
Models 1993
At the end of January 1993, sales of all versions of the Ford Sierra ceased.
