Checking oil pressure (Sierra)

1. Prepare a suitable pressure gauge.

2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.

3. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor from the oil filter holder and screw the pressure gauge tip into its place.

4. Start the engine and check the oil pressure at the appropriate engine speed (see subsection 4.2.1.3).

5. Unscrew the pressure gauge tip from the oil filter holder and screw in the oil pressure sensor.

6. Check the tightness of the sensor connection after starting the engine.
