Before starting work

In order for the repair or maintenance of the car to be carried out most efficiently, the following simple rules must be observed.

1. Tidy up your workspace. Remove all bolts, nuts and other small parts remaining after the previous repair so as not to confuse them during assembly.

2. When disassembling assemblies, put the parts in the order of removal - this will facilitate the assembly process for you.

Note. To facilitate the subsequent assembly of complex assemblies, it makes sense to mark the parts or their relative position. It is convenient to do this with an indelible felt-tip pen or paint.

3. Put small parts in pre-prepared containers so as not to lose them.

4. Before starting repairs, carefully study the instructions for the equipment used. Make sure you have all the necessary tools for the job. Keep your vehicle's repair manual handy while you work.

5. When performing complex work, carefully consider the sequence of actions. This will facilitate disassembly and assembly, and eliminate errors.

6. If you need to work under the vehicle, lay a blanket on the floor or use a dolly.
